Welcome to Mount Trequites!
If you're interested in making your own beer then take a look at my Homebrew pages. Some years ago I designed my own spreadsheet to help me calculate the quantities of ingredients for making my own beer. If you want to try it there is a page explaining how it works and you can download a copy of it. If you want to try some of the beers which I've made there's a page of recipes and information on how to make them. It's easy to make some of your own homebrewing equipment and I've included a page showing some of the equipment which I use to make my beer and information about how it's made. Just go to the 'Homebrew Page' link at the top to see what's there.
Exwick is a part of the City of Exeter, in Devon, England. For anyone that's interested in Exwick, I've included an Exwick page. There are various maps, some local pictures, a brief history and links to loads of other sites. Just click on the 'Exwick Page' link at the top to find out about Exwick. I've added some of the information from my Exwick page to the Wikipedia entry for Exwick, which is now rapidly growing (when I first added to it, there was not much more information than the fact that 'Exwick has two pubs; The Village Inn and The Thatch)'.
I taught myself html with the help of the designs at OSWD. This site is all my own work, hand coded using a simple text editor - most of it was produced at work, initially using Metapad and later Notepad2. Any changes are now done at home, where I use Ubuntu and the standard gedit as my text editor. I've tried to keep the design of the site simple and you should be able to read it no matter what the size of your screen and what browser you use. I've tried to keep the pages small as well, for speed of loading. There are some images on other pages but where possible I've kept them as 'thumbnails', which can be clicked on to view a bigger image if you want to. Not everyone has a fast internet connection.
